Formed by Joey Ramone, DeeDee Ramone, Johnny Ramone and Marky Ramone. The Chili Peppers is one of many famous artist recording a Tribute album for the Ramones and due out in 2002. Havana Affair was the song RHCP covers. Reading Festival European music festival that takes place every summer during three days in a smalltown called Reading, United Kingdom. The Chilis appeared on stage with light bulbs customs and Dave Navarro on the guitar on Reading 94. And they returned on Reading 99 with John Frusciante. The band arrive on site at 8:30 pm. Red Hot Chili Peppers Formed back in 1983 with the original formation of Anthony Kiedis and Flea. Offcourse there were Hillel Slovak (guitar) and Jack Irons (Drums). But they picked different paths. Ant and Flea stayed with the Chili Peppers, while Hillel and Jack opted to stay with 'What is this?'. After Hillel's Death, John Frusciante and Chad Smith came to the Band. Unfortunatelly, in 1992 John decided to quit the Band. After several guitarists, Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction was the chosen one for One Hot Minute. But not for long, as in 1998 Dave resign to concentrate with his band and solo project, Spread. Rick Rubin Born Frederick Jay Rubin in 1963 Long Island, New York. Def Jam co-founder, with Russell Simmons, of rap label Def Jam in 1984. Among Def Jam triumphs were records by LL Cool J, Run DMC, Slick Rick, Public Enemy, the Beastie Boys, System of a Down etc. Also Producer for Aerosmith. With the Chili Peppers, Rick was the Producer for Blood Sugar Sex magik, One Hot Minute, Californication, and By The Way. With John Frusciante, producing Niandra Lades. River Phoenix Born on the 23d of August 1970 in Madras, Oregon. Born River Jude and son of Arlyn Dunetz and John Phoenix. As very young he showed that he had great acting skills. His first movie was Explores (1985) and he starred in many great movies, Stand by me (1986), My own private Idaho (1991) where he got Flea a small part etc. River Phoenix and John Frusciante - "Me and River used to play together.We had a sort of communication that was intense, on just two guitars.We did two songs," John expands talking about the album Nianda Lades and Usually Just a T-shirt "One's called 'Bought Her Soul', and it's the second song on the album. River Phoenix and Flea - One of Phoenix´s closest friends from the music world was Michael Balzary, better known as Flea, bassist with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. a very close friend to the Chili Peppers. John was have to choose if he was going to go his career with thelonious Monster or the Chil iPeppers. But Ant and Flea managed to get John on time. Bob Forest was the leader of Thelonious Monster, and also very good friend with John. Today Bob Forest in a band called The Bicycle Thief, which is a very good band. Released back in 1987. Under the label EMI with Michael Beinhorn as the Producer. It's their last album with Hillel Slovak.
